Hi folks,

I'm relatively new to the world of home theatre setups and just bought a new house, so I'm finally looking to dive in! I'm hoping to get some recommendations for a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos system for my living room.

I've done a bit of reading, but honestly, it's a bit overwhelming with all the options out there (AVRs, speakers, subwoofers, oh my!). I'm looking for a good balance of performance and value, and I'm open to suggestions for individual components.

Here's a little more info about my situation:

  • Room Size: 11.5" x 19.3" | Height: 10ft
  • Budget: Upto 2L-2.5L
  • Primary Use: Music (50%), Movies and TV shows (50%), Gaming (10%)
  • Current Gear: LG C5 | NVIDIA Shield TV Pro 4K | Edifier R1855DB | PS5 | Fire TV 4K
  • Codec support required: Dolby Atmos TrueHD

Based on my research and preference:

Receiver (AVR): Yamaha RX A2A or V6A (114K) | Previously used Yamaha 3027IN just for Music, thus Yamaha is preferred.
Main Speakers: Q Acoustics 3020i (45K) | Auditioned and loved the output
Center Channel: Q Acoustics 3090Ci (28K)
Surround: Polk Audio T15 Paid (15.5K)
Subwoofer: Edifier T5 (Already have this)
In-Ceiling Speakers: 2 x Micca M-6C 6.5 Inch (12K)
Cabling: Any specific recommendations for speaker wire and HDMI cables?
----
Total: 214.5K

Any advice, personal experiences, or specific product recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
