Looking for good 5.1 HT Speakers

hi All..

Just joined the group... but have been reading the blogs since sometime now. Thank you all , you all been a great help by sharing your knowledge in...

As this being my first thread not sure if we already have a blog for this.. if we do .. please direct me to that link..

I'm looking for a 5.1 HT setup.. Im not that keen in going for HTiB cos the AV receviers are not what Im looking for..
I 'm looking for a AV receiver and a speaker package my budget is upto 70 to 80K.
Room size is 12X12. well its abig hall but the view area is what i mentioned.
Due the room size and my current set up don't want to go for floor standing speaker.. bookshelf or Satellite speakers preferred.

I m looking for good sound..Network, 3D, upscaling and atleast 4 HDMI ports, features. looked some AV receivers,

ONkyo 579 7.1
Onkyo 609 7.2
Denon 1912 7.1

* checked 7.1 AV receivers just in case if i want to upgrade in future

speakers sets
checked Onkyo * but didnt like much..
checked PolkAudio * not sure about the performance.
Bose Lifestyle 10

please any suggestions ..

Denon AVR1912 + 2 towers/center & surround if you want to avoid a powered sub, else 2 bookshelves/center/surrounds + an active sub

Regarding speaker choices, the best way is to audition, since the budget plays a very critical factor.

For the Receivers im confused with Yamaha Rx-V671 and Denon AVR 1912, booth seem to be fine.. looking for which is the better one..

Speakers, as I said due to space constrain I m planning to go for bookshelf.. checked Polk Audio speaker sets

OWM3
PSW125...

checked online some Jamo.. speakers too..
any recommendations for the 5.1 speakers with the active sub woofers..

Try Paradigm Monitor series. And if you're going to buy an amp like the 1912, you might wanna consider increasing your budget since the amp alone would cost you 40k and you might not find speakers within your budget that do justice to this amp.

I have heard polk RTI series is good. Please add those also in list.

I guess they are no longer available in Indian market. A lowered version is currently in stores. But I can be a savior by selling my 5.1/5.0 . Interested can PM me.
