Just though of sharing....

Been for demo last Saturday. The models demod were D590, C109, C97 for music, all powered by Roksan K2 integrated amp and D550 THX for movies, also RF7 (toooo huge)

As regards to Jamo, liked D590 a lot for music performance and C109 too, sound signature is similar, however D590 sounds much more fuller.

Looking at my requirement & space, C97 looks to be the most suitable out of all. Liked the sound which is same as C109, only diff is 109 digs out low end better.

Now the question & guidance I need from exerts:

C97 & matching center are rated 6 ohms and current surrounds (DEf Tech SR 8040 BP) are rated 8 ohms. Is it advisable / suitable to drive speakers with different impedance by a single power amp (Emotiva UPA-7 rated 125 RMS @ 8 ohms, all channels)?

Did not speak about the prices as thought of clarifying above 1st. Goggled but could not find info or any article on the same.

Thanks & Regards,

Amit

Took a demo of rti a7, liked the sound signature for movies and music both. The package has been already delivered. Went for A7, CSI A4 and dsw 550 pro, connected to my system and wow! A7 sounds superb with emo gear, have not stitched on sub for music as the a7s are producing enough low end through reference stereo mode on xmc! Speakers are still being burned in and yet to run direc to fine tune the whole system again! Happy with performance so far! Pics to follow soon in new thread! Thx
