One thing I have noticed while watching quite a few movies at home is that the general background music and sound effects are kept quite loud but the dialogue level is lower. In some theaters they keep the volume level too high which becomes uncomfortable to watch. So at home whether it is ott or bluray, you have to sometimes reduce and increase the volume accordingly which should not be the case if the mixing level is ideal. Regional movies are often kept loud maybe because they feel the loudness level has more impact on the audience.
