Hello everyone
Just received my Chartwell Ls3/5a 15 ohms classic speakers
These could very well be one of my nicest sounding speakers.....literally babies vs my other giants.
They hold their own and and dont tire your ears.
A good friend helped me get them
Anyone out there with LS3/5A other models?
Truly an experience

Oh no.....this is the original Chartwell 15ohms.
Yes have a few turntables now

Hello guys
Have tried posting a video of the Chartwells.
The audio is only from the chartwells and not from the white zingali below
I am using these little speakers for over a week now and love them more each time
Cant understand how they produce such accurate bass without overdoing it
I have monitor reds and JBL L300 and have had AR3a and spendor sp2/2 so I can safely say the chartwells aren't coloured

Very good indeed, however i keep changing my setup so am now working on a DIY altec 803a pair with professional JBL horns.

Chartwells are one of the earliest models is what I understand from the net. Mine are really wary serial numbered

I used to drive them with a mcintosh 2270 power amp. Had to downsize, however kept the L300s. They don’t come up to often for sale. So felt will be easier buying back a mcintosh then these monsters
