Making my Ubuntu based Spotify Streamer more robust and less connection-droppy

@rwnano you have ubuntu desktop with desktop GUI? just choose "DHCP" (automatic) in network settings and disable for ipv6 and restart it? too many things/changes going on 😆
Yes . Ubuntu desktop environment on MacBook 2010 is my streamer.
It's connected via both ethernet cable as well as wireless 🛜 with ethernet predominant.
Tab bhi the damn Spotify streamer performance is "Spotty" :)

I followed our respected forum member and guide - mBhangui's instructions on how to run spotify streamer on Ubuntu over the past 1-2 years. He's been extremely kind and helpful.
My 2010 Apple Macbook Pro is my always on , LAN ethernet connected streamer. Topping D10S DAC through to my Amplifier.
It is connected via ethernet cable as well as wifi to the Netgear 8 port switch in my network.
That netgear 8 port switch is getting internet from my Huawei fiber+Wireless router from Airtel - which has a fiber cable in it. I can get speeds of 300 MBps at the Huawei Router.
Now the problem is - that the "Spotify tunnel" / "Spotify - connect" which enables me to control my streamer-speaker from my phone is slightly erratic.
It will be playing music well, then suddenly if I change the song, it may disconnect.
Then I will have to reconnect, or fiddle something to get it to reconnect.
I am familiar with reverse SSH tunnels and the like...which is why I mention the spotify app tunnel here.
Seeking help. I know Mr Bhangui's system plays well and stably.
Your MacBook’s dual network setup (Ethernet and Wi-Fi) may be causing instability in Spotify Connect. Try disabling Wi-Fi and let it rely solely on the Ethernet connection. Check if multicast or IGMP snooping is enabled on your router and Netgear switch, as these affect device discovery. Assigning a static IP and ensuring mDNS (port 5353) is open can also improve connection stability.

Update: I have disabled all Ubuntu GUI updates and the streamer is far more stable.

Also have static IP address with ethernet cable. How ever connection is 100 Mbps because the port of the MacBook Pro is from 2010 and thus not gigabit Ethernet.
Airtel connection though is 300 Mbps. I should possibly look into a USB to ethernet cable adapter.

Problems related to my streamer still persist. The librespot instance is less stable than the Spotify GUI instance. SO I find myself connecting more to the Spotify GUI instance detected in my phone and not the librespot instance.
