Media player for car?

is there any media player available to play movies from hard disk for car

it does not play mkv files though. also, it does not reco more than 500GB

You can get any media player like WDTV, HiMedia. Preferrably buy the player which takes 12V DC. Then you don't need to worry about an inverter/converter and just power up the player from the 12v dc plug inside the car.

I know Patriot Box office and Micca EP 950 works on 12v dc input. Micca EP950 is HiMedia 900B clone, so check it out.
