Meridian DSP8000SE

Dear All,

Anyone auditioned or own Meridian DSP8000SE speaker system? On paper, this is the best speakers when it comes to reproducing source material ( What you hear is what mic hears !!! ) . But what’s your real world experience?

I own it. I like it a lot but now I have moved to Wilson which are even better by a significant margin.

Which all are the areas do you notice the improvements? Resolution? Soundstage? Dynamic?

It is not a straight comparison since Meridian is an active speaker, and to replace it with a passive Wilson we are also adding a Power Amp and two cables.

But the net result, without trying to apportion the change among the new chain, is certainly a better resolution and in fact much better lows.
