Metrum Acoustics Flint is an amazing little entry level DAC, yes its entry level for Metrum Acoustics standards but easily better than many other DACs in market that costs 2 times the money. Now the Flint gets even better with the Upgrade option. Yes the regular Flint's DAC 1 chip can be now upgraded to the DAC 2 Module (Same module used by Metrum Adagio) with this upgrade the Flint becomes as good as Amethyst without headphone amplifier at almost half the price.

Combine the Flint with Baby amber (room streamer ) for a complete setup.
