please seems to be really nice,..it must have been a calm but rich in good music.. many of us have missed including me

Hi all,
This meet turned out to be a quite, relaxed gathering. The HT demo & Stereo demo were short, however even with such short exposure I still came back a little wiser.
For me the HT experience of action on small fronts speakers w subwoofer was as much enjoyable as the big floorstanders. So I am not upgrading my sattelite spkrs anytime soon (Both were Yamahas. Sorry didn't keep track of details, I am not a HT guy you see

The stereo demo with Sann's DIY Pass F1 Amp was, as expected, Great! Very tight, clean, detailed, wide soundstage without sounding thin (the bass thump /heft appeared understated, even though I could clearly see large woofer excursions on B&W 685 monitors. Probably this is what you get with fast, clean, tight bass.)
Bass level appeared adequate, but a little fat with my Adcom poweramp. Adcom sounds very detailed with my Usher monitors, however paired with B&W 685, it was just ok.
I am in a bit of hurry, so can't add more. Once again thanks to Askii & Viki to making this meet possible.

CORRECTION:
The amp was F5 Turbo power amp, not F1 as quoted earlier.

Sorry folks, I missed this. :sad:Had been keeping pretty busy and haven't been logging in of late. Just got to know when I met OM today.
