Mogam 3103 - slight boom

Hi

While I have yet to decide on newer speaker cables, off late have noticed a slight boom in the sound which had gone after running the room correction software.. Since I changed the furniture setting a bit, I have been listening to the system without the room correction software..

Could the slight boom be because of the Mogami 3103 as it's thicker than usual? The boomy echo was not noticeable much earlier but off late without the software it has become more prominent.. Changing to a Dueland 16GA or Mogami 2804 would reduce the boominess?

It could be the room which is creating the boom and the room correction was taking care of it

I remember mogami 3103 always sounded a bit fat to me in lower regions with a 3d kind of sound. Maybe that's why you hear boominess.

So then I need to experiment with the 2804 or the Dueland 16GA cables to decide for myself.... Anyone in Delhi from whom I can borrow for a day ?
