I am sure there is an expert out there that can confirmed something for me.
I have a Sony STR-DA2400Es Amp which has a Rated Power output at Stereo Mode 8ohms 100w+100w
Reference Power Output 8ohms
Fronts 110w+110w
Centre 110w
Rear Surround 110W + 110w
I am using JBL LX2004 Main Speakers Rated 6ohms 10-200 watts rms
with JBL LX2002 shelf rears rated 8ohms 10-125 w
I have been using a very simple Sony centre speak but would like to change this to a very slim but good centre speaker. I have been looking at a Monitor Audio Shadow Centre which is rated at 8ohms 40-120watts.
Can you guys out there give me advise as to suitability etc. Would like to change the JBL's eventually to the matching Shadows but for now its Centre Speaker thats more in need.
