Most desirable tubes for SET amp

Dear all,

Just want to know which is the most desirable tube for SET amps?

Couple of usual suspects are

1. 6C33C
2. GM70
3. 300B
4. 45
5. 211
6. 845
7. 2A3

Any other popular ones??

Which one do you own or love to own? Which is most desirable one??

Note : I know the amp selection depends on speaker & power requirements etc. Let’s forget about that
for a moment

My favourite is 2a3

I have heard 2a3 and 300B.. both are great. But 300B are more raw is what I think.

300B gets all the attention, but the 2A3 is a real star. 2A3 for me.

Thanks everyone. Looks like 2A3 & 300B are go to tubes..
Heard from designers that 6C33C is also an excellent tube. But it doesn’t have much fan base ..
