Hi Guys,

I have a 1970s Murphy record player. It starts and functions well but there is no pin to play the records. Can we repair this? All the functions work except for the pin.

I know it looks like in a bad condition. The duct tape I applied while shifting will be removed and the cosmetic enhancement will be done perfectly.

I need help in fixing this thing technically. I am sure this is the best system I have at my house. And I still have original Doors and The Who records with me :)

Thanks & Regards,
Muli

Wow!! the last time I saw one of these was when I was a kid. Honestly the deck is in very poor condition and will need a lot of work. You also have to procure a ceramic cartridge for it, which is not going to be easy and is not going to come cheap.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
