Just saw your post with no replies. Makes me wonder how popular MF is. Seems to be a bit sidelined for some reason.

Personally - I haven’t listened to many brands of amp - perhaps 4 or 5 - but of those the MF stood out for me. Originally I had a M3Si but now I use a M6PRX power amp fed straight from my DAC. Great.

Interesting time to release the Class A A1 as Class D amps get more and more hype. Perhaps it’s in tune with the retro mood these days.

I had an original A1-X which I bought used. Later found it had a fatal flaw and slowly with time one channel died. Tried to repair it but found that the original transistors no longer exist. Since I was no longer using it, my wife threw it out .

The top of the amp used to get hot enough to cook eggs on. Hope they fixed its issues this time.
