with doing this. I used 50 paise coins for the large coins at the corners and a 25 paise coin for the one in the center. With music playing I slowly slid the corner coins backwards at the edges. There is a subtle effect - the soundstage goes wider. The widest being the coins positioned towards the midpoint of the depth of the speakers. Sliding beyond that - I could not hear any difference.
I called my wife to listen [with eyes closed] and comment. She too says that there is a difference - because she didn't know how to explain the difference, when the coins were slid back - she said "the sound seems to recede". Try it and let me know if it works for you guys.
 
You have already told everyone what to expect. Now the imagination will kick in and people will "hear" things . :)

You should have told the folks to try it and simply note the sound stage at each step !! :eek:hyeah:

Since this is the *cheapest* audiophile upgrade I have ever encountered, I will try it tonite ... :eek:hyeah:
