Hi
I recently bought NAD tuner 412. This model was rated 5* by What's hifi review. I need information on below points:
1. Does tuners need any maintenance to keep sound quality good? e.g. tape decks, need head cleaning periodically
2. I did comparison with Denon460 at friend's house. Compare to NAD, this was giving kind of very flat response and sound feel bit noisy. Any internal adjustments need to be done / checked (Tuners have some screw type setting-switches inside)
3. I got this with LCD panel backlight dead. I replaced LCD backlight with LED bulbs with resistor to reduce voltage. Would it influence sound quality?
