I got my NAD C320BEE from Mumbai during last Christmas & have set it up with my old SONY SS-S350 3 way speakers (marketed by Manu Chabbaria's Sony Orson in the 80s). The bass does not seem very punchy with this amp. Tracks played include Pink Floyd's Time (SACD), Boston's More Than A Feeling (SACD), Metallica's Holier Than Thou (CD).

Should I pair it up with a graphic equaliser to get more punchier bass ? I have got a PIONEER GR-777 lying around in the house. Or, should I go for a separate sub-woofer in parallel to the existing two SONY speakers ?

Considering that you are using this system for music only I would suggest you to change your speakers. You will definately get better bass from some of the newer floorstand speakers.

I had ever use NAD C320BBE, you can not expect so much from it.
What to expect is easy listening and don't think too much.
I have upgraded to NAD C352 which is better in many area.
I would like you the go to NAD shop and try NAD 352 and compare to C320BEE if it worth for you to pay more. :)
