Nakamichi 581Z

Hi,

This is the rear side of my newly acquired Nak 581Z.
Can anyone tell me pls whether this supports 120v or 220v as there is no changer switch but both volts are mentioned at the back.

remove the screw you will find 110 V option.

BTW I can see it is set for 220 V

Congrats. I had a 481 z. It was a beautiful sounding deck. I am sure 581 must also be a good one

Sorry, somehow I missed this post. Hemant is spot on. But remember, the 110volt option is covered for a reason. Please ensure that you don't turn your deck on, using the 110volt option. If you do, you'll definitely blow the powersupply and if you are un-lucky, something else internally, with it.
