Hello this is Santanu ; I am an amateur music enthu with lots of CDs ; I have this AVR Denon 1612 which I got from ProFX but somehow this item was wrong and had issues from initial days .. twice repaired by them within warranty and all. Most days now I am listening with only 1000xm3.

I am looking for a good reference to get this repair and listen back to CDs

Any old members are selling second and AVR please let me know.


I stay in north Bangalore - Hebbal and I hate traffic so please do not suggest anything south of MG Road

If you are looking for stereo music playback via cd playback any reason you want an AVR only vs a stereo intrgrated amplifier.

Anything is fine; as long as it is not a very expensive solution. I have a Sony DVD/CD player (old very basic one but works).


In the current setup --
- I have 2 tower speakers(polk Audio TSi400) ; 1 sub (polk) .
- I do have 2 (Bose bookshelves) as rear speakers when the AVR was working.

The Video part is not much use ; as my son's xbox one is now disconnected.
And TV no one really watching anything anymore... everyone Netflix/OTT on the personal devices.
