egate 512 is a great projector. we just bought it last month. wanted a LED projector as watching TV was also in the list of things we wnated to do with it and didnt want to wroy abt the lamp life. Price was 26000 plus 700 for ceiling mount. screen size 120 inches on painted wall. dulux welvet emulsion i gues. no focus issue no other issues can play all files easily. playing ps3 on it is like the most awesome experience. ps3 needs to be set on 1080i and not on 1080p or vise varsa maybe i dont remember exactly.
bright enough and having enough contrast ratio for a LED projector at this price. No need to turn on the lights when the pj is on.
Didnt check the inbuilt speakers - connected it to DIY subwoofers and f&d satellites via locally available crossovers. Sound output is good which mainly depends on the quality of the video file. Output from Tata Sky HD is great.
Even at 120 inches there is no focus issue. We were having problems connecting pen drives and hdmi so got 10m hdmi yesterday and usb extension as well.
Tata sky hd box is placed on the projector itself on the ceiling mount.
We inquired a lot about the warranty before buying it the dealer said it can be couriered and also said that they have sold many 512 and none had an issue yet.
If you need to check anything in it let me know ill check it and revert here.

I agree with Just4kix, one of my friend using Dell M110 led projector on inverter without ups no issue what so ever till date.
