Hello!
So I've been a Sony loyalist since a long time now. However, my last purchase has left a bitter taste in my mouth. I purchased a 65" X90J in June 2022 from Reliance Digital for 1.22 k & a 4 year extended ResQ warranty for an additional 30 k.
In July 2024, the TV developed double image & flickering issues. After a lot of back & forth, they replaced the Panel. However the same issue cropped on on 26th January this year again. This time, Sony informed Reliance that they don't have the spare panels anymore so Reliance is now offering me a refund of 40% (after deducting depreciation).
Cut to today, I need to buy a 65" TV so need recommendations. Viewing distance is 8-10' in a moderately lit room. Budget is around 1-1.2 lacs max. My heart is still with Sony but this experience has been a shocker for me. So request all experts here to chip in with their recommendations, including Sony or any other brand.
Also, if any idea about how much would a extended brand warranty cost for such TV. Don't wana go the ResQ route again.
