Need guidance on How to purchase stereo bookshelf speakers in Chennai

If you're mindful of your budget, I’d highly recommend checking out Emotiva speakers. Otherwise Dali. They strike an excellent balance between movie and music performance when paired with an AVR.
Thanks for the reply. Emotiva looks really good but way out of my budget. I've stretched my budget to max for the avr (x1800h). I know I said 30k is my budget but would be happy if I get good options in the range of 25-28k.

I'm just planning for a good setup for movie watching and music in my living room. Figured if I get the avr now, I can add components along the way over the years. Bookshelf --> center channel ---> subwoofer is my upgrade path for now.

(my living room is 22x13 and my seating is 9-10 ft from TV)

I know asked suggestions for Bookshelf but how is Polk tower speakers (T50). They are around the same budget as well but not sure about sound quality.

Will be difficult to get Dali within a 30K budget.

Suggest look at speakers within your price range on HiFiMart.

Thanks for the response @argho . All those 3 options looks solid and are within my budget range. I just wish I had a chance to listen to them before making the purchase. I would really appreciate it if you could help me with these below questions

Questions:
1. Is there significance difference between Mission LX-2 vs Mission LX-3? I have not heard either of them. I currently use an active bookshelf speaker for my desktop (Edifier r1855db) and my experience is limited to that.
2. I see Wharfedale speaker Diamond 12.1 is out of stock. Would that be a good option as well? They said it will be back in stock next month
3. Would I be requiring a sub immediately if I go for any of the above options in the discussion?

I think there are quite a few HIFI dealers in Chennai. Make sure to try out the speakers before you buy. The speakers mentioned earlier are really good, but it's best to finalise your choice after an audition. You might want to check out several stores for speaker auditions. Relying on online reviews to buy speakers is a bit of a gamble; you could end up loving them or completely hating them.

The Diamond 12 series is a solid choice, and they’ll pair nicely with your Marantz. When it comes to subwoofers, most bookshelf speakers do require one to achieve low SPL, but if you're on a tight budget, you can always add a subwoofer later.
