I have a budget of 150k
For Avr+speaker
Had audition jamo S606 and polk Rti A5 with denon2313
Thank u in advance

guys pls help me out to select a good HT setup, my preference is music 70% and movies 30%, and please let me know from whr i can get good deal in mumbai

There are no ready set up solutions. Its a personal choice and you will have to do a number of auditions and come with a shortlist so that other FMs can you give their feed back.

thank you jagdish
i wil get more audition of speaker and let u knw wht i felt and thn u giv a feedback on it ,
thank u so much

If music is more imp to you...........you should be looking at Marantz or NAD for AVRs. For speakers I would suggest Mordaunt Short, Wharfedale, PSB, Monitor Audio, Tannoy. Paradigm, etc............

You need to demo and hear several systems and then decide. Audio is subjective and what pleases your ears might not go well with others, so always go for what you like.

I personally have liked Polk over Jamo. Dali is also good .

If you dont mind going for the used gear , there is a good deal on Polk RTi A7 / CSiA4 / F/XiA4 / DSWPROwi / Onkyo TX SR 606 Black 7.1 channel AVR on olx for 95k ( 45% discount ) in Mumbai.

thank u aakshar, and mzb
msb@ its my first setup and i want to go with new one, not second, actualy i dnt hav trust on seconds

akash is correct,
for music nad is best unless very very high budget for some super systems...for more lower budget marantz will be good..
and why avr...why not amp??

speaker is personal..psb,dali,usher,MA,focal,wharf..lots are there.

@prosenjit
sir i need 5.1 setup, amp is only 2.1? right?, i dnt hav knowledge of amp, it is my first ht setup

You have to makeup your mind. If your usage is 70% music, go with an integrated amplifier. That is 2 channel only.

If you want something for both music and movies, take a look at Marantz AVRs. They are great for movies and not too shabby with music either.

NAD AVRs are amazing but I'm not sure about their starting range and price.

Thanks shuv
I want for both , music and movies , but music preference is more
One option is thr of avr with pre out, I read tht in forum, whats that exactly? And how u cn connect amp to avr?

@prosenjit
Thanks for guiding
Sir I wil get the demo for floorstanders and amp or avr first
Bcoz even I m confused now with amp and avr

are dont call me sir brother..
usage?
player?
source?
and you dont need very powerful system as your room is not too big

yah pre out wala avr(at least 2 front ch)...is a nice idea

sir one more thing i forgot to mention is,
i want speaker which is vry clear in sound ,i dnt need too much bass, i want clarity,
so that i can hear them for long hours
