Hi,

Am new to this forum and this happens to be my first post.

I intend to setup a HT in my home and need help in configuring it.

I intend to buy Epsom TW6000 for projector and need suggestion for 5.1 Speaker configuration along with AVR. My budget for speaker and AVR is around 1L.

Please help.

For a Budget of 1 L -- I would suggest Denon 1612 receiver with Paradigm Cinema 100 CT- 5.1 Speaker Package.

Well u have a lot of options in the 1 lac range... HifiMart has the 9.5 diamond 5.1 + a 5005 avr for 99k... That is a really good option... Another option I really liked is the pioneer 51FS 5.1 speaker set for 48k + either the Yamaha V671 for 36k or the Harmon Kardon 3600 for around 42k... Problem with this setup is that we only know of a dealer in mumbai(avenue sound.in) who stocks it... Do get in contact with them & see where u can listen to this setup in Delhi ... Pls don't buy any setup without auditioning it 1st... Best of luck for ur purchase...

Thanks guys i finally did a lot of research and finalized the following.:

1. Epson tw8000 projector
2. Polk audio rti a9 (2) + csi a6 + fxi a6 (2)
3. Denon 3313ci avr
4. 200" projector screen material that I will buy from US during my next visit in Nov.

Hope all of this would come together well.

Thanks to a lot of you.

You started with 1l budget, but those speakers itself would have costed you around 1.5 lacs :P

True. But I realized that it's a one time investment and thus should expand my horizon. Started with 1 but ended up at close to 5L.

Actually it will still double up as carpet and recliners would consume the rest.

dont worry the results will make you forget about the budget.best of luck.denon polk is a very nice combo.but centre/front/surround of the same series is preferreable.to create sound acoordingly in balance
anyway, also give a second thought in hi fi marts sale section.some very lucrative bargains are there.

What makes you say they are not from the same series. They are from rti series and preferred and suggested by Polk.

we share similar dilemma, i started with 60k and ended up at 1.5 lacs myself and picked up almost the same thing as yours except A9 i have A3. What about the sub, what have you planned, or you are happy with the bass produced by A9

I will add a sub later as I will have to do with current setup as I cannot go beyond 9L outer limit for it. Besides A9 produces some terrific. Bass.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
