Hi, I am planning to replace my Bose center speaker as I am not satisfied with sound quality. I have a HK- AVR 142 receiver and am looking for something that delivers a rich sound.

I have the following options, but am not able to decide:

1. JBL control now- the dealer was in favor of this particular speaker, but I am
not sure.

2. JBL studio 120C- sounded similar to control now, so I was confused

3. Infinity PC351BK

4. Definitive Technology ProCenter 1000

5. JBL ES25CBK

6. BIC America FH6-LCR

I have an option of getting these from the US, and the prices are within budget.

Right now my HT is setup in a 14x10 ft area, and I am using Bose 301s for front and Acoustimass 5 Series III for surrounds.

Please suggest something suitable.

Thanks,

Maninder

JBL 120C is good. Have auditioned at JBL Center at CR Park. I believe it costs 10K.

Try WFdale CS and Jamo center as well.

Ideally its recommended to buy the center channel from the same make as your fronts or else you try and match the details of the center channel from that company in your case JBL with others and then buy the one which is the closest match to the original.

Thanks!
Ashish, I actually had all five Bose speakers. Unfortunately, Boce Center- VCS 10 is not as good..
I think I will go with JBL and later convert all five to the same brand, and use Bose for stereo use. Moreover, I like Harman as a brand, so will stick with what they produce!

Wharfedale Linton Heritage Speakers in Red Mahogany finish at a Special Offer Price. BUY now before the price increase.
