Hi All,
I’m looking to build my starting 3.1 hi end audio setup consisting of a pair floor standers or a pair of bookshelf with a Center channel (only for movies) and a subwoofer.
Can you pls suggest a beginner combination and pair it up with the suggested AVR.
I will be using the system mainly for audio (70%) and sometimes for movies (30%) in my living room. I stay in an apartment.
Living room Dimensions (feet): 16.0x20.0 with furniture and not treated for sound. It’s an L-shape room connecting the dining area (L-Shape increases the breadth to 35 feet).
Budget: 3-4 lacs (can stretch slightly more)
I have auditioned the following and the estimates came out to be 4.8 lacs:
1. Wharfedale Evo 4.4 FS
2. Rel Acoustics Sub HT1205 MK II
3. Marantz SR6015
My questions are:
1. For my room dimensions, does investing 5lacs to begin my audio journey justified?
2. Any other suggestions from the experts on this forum?
