Need Help with my speakers
Dear Friends, I am using custom made speaker pair with my YAMAHA A-S500 amp. Each speaker includes 10" woofer (135mm magnet) + 4" Tweeter + 2.5" Dome Twitter, also used crossover and added glass-wool inside. The bass and treble is very good, but still seems there is something missing, a smooth sound clarity and quality (I have no words to describe). Speaker dimensions are:
24" height X 15" width" X 15" Depth.
I have tried my Panasonic 5 CD changer's speakers with A-S500, and its sound quality is fine (what I am looking for). But it has 5 inch woofer and a dome twitter but its volume level is low, even at same volume...my speakers works fine with good sound level, which level should be actually.
Please suggest what should I do with my speakers to get a crisp sound, do I need to change my 4" tweeter to midrange or change my crossover or have to to something else?
