Guys, help me out with your suggestion on a good Mini Hifi system for bedroom which will also have iPhone lightning dock. I know I am asking for too much in one system, but I love the look and feel of Yamaha MCR 040 but it has the old 30 pin connecter. Let me know your suggestions please.

Do try out the Marantz CR603 - recently heard it. Was impressed with the sound - quite a powerful unit given its size. I know few people who use it as their main system. Though it may warrant some nice speakers. Havnt heard the Yamaha though.
+1 on that. I am using the Marantz CR503 with Dali Zensor 1 speakers. Lovely sound. Did not go for the 603 as did not need the additional features.
These do not have Apple docks but give full remote control of iPod (and I suppose iPhone?) via USB.

@Indy, Yes the Marantz is compatible with iPhone usb.
You can also check out the Onkyo CS-245. It's a nice sounding system, and the advantage is that it's cheaper than the Marantz or Denon, it comes with an iPod and iPhone dock, and speakers are included in the package (Marantz, i think, is sold as just a receiver without speakers).
