I have music on cassettes, audio CDs, MP3 cds and MP3 files on laptop. My old Kenwood music system has failed and now I have only an old Thomson radio-cassette player and one Sony multimedia player NWZ-E436F. Want to replace Kenwood with something but finding it difficult to decide. One option considered is a Sony or Philips mini Hi Fi system. Alternatively a portable CD/cassette/radio 3-in1 player plus a 2.1 speaker system (Altec Lansing / Crative / iBall) for laptop. It is said life of portable 3-in-1 players is very short. If I go for a mini Hi Fi system I will still have to look for speakers to be used with laptop.
