Hi All,
after almost one year of leeching in forum I am still confused about buying a new TV. Yes it's emotional affair for me because dad bought family's first CRT TV(first a local brand named Konark, second a 25" BPL - still running fine after 14 years). Now, as a son, it is my turn to bring a big new-age TV to home. So I want it to be very good so that Dad wont make joke of me
By leeching, I realized Plasma is better for money and quality. But after 2-3 random visit to showroom, just for checking purpose, I felt plasma lacks the brightness of LED which pleases everyone. To cut the story short, here is my budget, requirement and confusion
Budget - up to 60k
Size - 42-50"
Viewing Distance- 8-9ft
Content - MOSTLY Movies
Source - Downloaded DVD Rip, 720p BD Rip, DVDs, occasionally DTH, very occasionally BluRays.
Features Wanted - DLNA, Wifi/inbuilt, Optical Out
Confusion#1 - LED or Plasma (pls see attached image of the place i will turn to some sort of poor home theater thing. brightly day lighted though I will try check it through curtains)
Confusion#2 - HD or Full HD
Confusion#3 - 42" or bigger
I like everything of LEDs except the low motion flow/refresh rate(jitter) thing. I get headache seeing action scenes in LED of my cousin. I like everything of Plasma except the brightness thing. Especially my family may not like dim lighting of Plasma.
I have Pana x42, x50, u42 in my mind. Please guide me.
