Noise cancelling earphones

Kindly suggest a good noise cancelling earphones (not headphones) which gives good audio quality also. Bose has one (costing around 25k) but reviews state that its audio quality is not upto the mark though its noise cancellation features are good.

If you are primarily looking for Noise cancellation, nothing can beat Bose. I use the Bose on flights and the drop off of engine noise is unbelievable.

If you are primarily looking for audio quality it may be better to get in-ear phones that have many shaped inserts which allow you to get the closest fit into your ear.

Of course, if money is no object you can do the custom fitted in-ear phones.

I agree with Shankar. I also use Bose during flights and it is really effective. Sometimes I feel like using it in restaurants too while having dinner... they are so noisy
