I think you need to check if the brochure of your speakers mentions min amp power requirements.
On the Yamaha site your speakers mention input power as 70W.
The amp power should normally be higher than the speaker req. IMHO.
The Norge would give 60W at 8 ohms.

Yes,a friend of mine uses the same combo, and he is very happy with it. Much better than Yamaha RXV477 that he has. He is using Norge 1000 gold by the way.
