Please let me know if it is really safe to use Norge 2060(Already bought) with Pioneer Car speaker for tight Budget.

Norge 2060 Spec:
Output: 80W + 80W RMS @ 4 ohms. 60W + 60W RMS @ 8 ohms
Frequency Response: 20Hz-30kHz +/- 0.5db
THD @ rated output: <0.04%
Input Sensitivity: 500mv

Pioneer Speaker Spec: Home :: Pioneer
Size: 6" x 9"
Max. Music Power Nominal: 600 W (100 W)
Frequency Response: 27 Hz to 37 kHz
Sensitivity (1W/1m): 92 dB
Impedance: 4 Ohm

Also let me know about the Sound Quality if I use this in home(Bed Room).
I will buy/Build separate speaker box to use this speaker.
I liked the pioneer speaker's sound quality in My Car:).

I will be mostly listening to Music(Rock/Metal Genre) and not for Movies.

Hi

I know a few friends who use Car Speakers at home. They have made special boxes to house them. Yes the SQ is quite good as it delivers almost all the required frequencies which we hear in our music.....

The Norge will work fine and check during playback if it heats up too quick....if yes then you can add some cooling fans to keep the AMP cool or perhaps add more aluminum heatsinks from outside (where possible) I did that for my Arphi (AA140) integrated amplifier years back..also added 2 cooling fans to the heatsink (similar to desktop CPU).

All the best.....

Ensure the car speakers you use are rated at 4ohm or higher and you should be good.
