I went for the show wearing the trouser of my 'bandhgala' and the coat tucked into a laptop bag, just in case.

I found quite a few suit walas but equal number of people with shirts of all colours, shades and designs but with black ties. :lol:

And don't forget... the Brits have a long tradition of wearing their stupid stuff whatever the climate!

red coat... On one of my first visits to India, I saw uniforms worn by the Brits in Chennai way back then: this was thick wool. This was real cold-weather stuff.
