Guys,
My A/v reciever has only one Coaxial digital in port.
Where as i need to use the two devices ..My settop box and my PC.

Unfortunately my PC and settopbox have only coaxial digital outs. So I couldn't use my tossilink ports(optical ports) even though my reciever has 3 ports.

I will be using one device most of the time. Currently I have two coaxial cables and I am removing and connecting every time to switch TV/PC..its irrittating.

Will there be any "Y" kind of cable available so that i can connect both devices?. Is it safe if accidently switch on both devices ?

Or Coaxial Switcher would be better?.

Are there any Coaxial to Tossilink(Optical) converter availabe here (chennai) in less price?.

This could work: RCA switch. I'm not entirely sure it will, but at Rs120 its worth a try! Make sure you plug input and output in the same colour pin.

Logically it should wortk.Give t a try.
Co axial being elecrical this seems the answer.

BTW this is available in local electronic market too.

i got the same thing but MX brand for Rs.90/- from lamington road. but this is analog, i think the OP wants digital

The standard RCA cable can carry both analog audio signals and digital spdif (coaxial). Since you already have the switch, it might be a good idea to try it out and see if it works?
