Panel Failure - Is there a solution?

Dear FM, My Sony 46 inch LED TV started developing double/Ghost image from last month. Sony service center personal suggested to replace the panel with cost of 35k. When contacted local TV service person, he suggested that if only ghost image without changing colour panel can be repaire at the cost of 8k. But no warranty about servicing. May last for week or year also. Please suggest and if possible provide contact details of service center near Mumbai where reliable service is available.

One more to add. TV works absolutely fine for first 15 to 20 min and later on stars developing double image . This happens from last one month. Please help
