I am planning to buy philips dvp5996 in India. I have few questions.
1. Is this player region free?
2. If I have a subtitle in the USB in the same folder as of the movie will it take the subtitle and play it?
3. When we are viewing JPEG how long will it take to load the next JPEG file when we click next button? (will it take too long or normal time)
4. How is the remote control response time(when we press some button will the player respond immediatly) ?
5. I have 29inch Philips tv. Does the remote control work with all the models of PHilips tv(like changing channel increase the volume etc)?
6. What is the warranty period?
7. Does USB play DVD files?
