pioneer spBS22 tweeter broken!!!

One of my bs 22 fell on floor and its twitter is broken
I talked to dealer he says that pioneer doesnt hv spares. And doesnt repair like that. I will hv to buy new pair ( yes pair).
Can any one confirm that? Is it true?

Dealers may be saying this. But did you try contacting any one officially. I mean helpline no. Or service centre. If no then....
Try writing emails to pioneer and Check out with the service centers this is the link : pioneer-india.in/support/where-to-buy/ Maybe some will have it. Try each and every place. I think in such a case service should be provided definately. Why should you buy a new pair?

I called the service center of Pioneer, and explained them, situation.

Unfortunately, Pioneer neither repair these speakers nor have spares.

Like me if something is broken or stopped working you will have to buy new speakers (pair),
this is really ridiculous

All need to consider this aspect before investing in Pioneer speakers.

Same happened to me with my Jamo s408. Just like what happened to u. My tweeter was actually good but the the coller was broken into pieces. I tried Ebay.com. Luckily i got a Brand new Tweeter (the whole set) from a seller in portugal. It costed me only 2000rs including shipping . So try ebay.

Hi,

If you have manual of the speaker you can get the part number of the tweeter or else open up the speaker and check for it .You can try on ebay and related sites using that number. You can also post it here we will try to find it out.
