hey iaudio, the ERC-1 is not mine, a friend is getting it. It is passing through Chennai on its way from New York to Bangalore.

The Cambridge Audio S30 is also being bought by another friend.

I am hoping to review the FiiO E7 soon when my friend gets his hands on it.

Vinay too busy to reply to pm's eh?!.anyway planning to go for the senheiser adidas earphones!.any idea about them?.well i cut my budget to 3k(i know its quite funny!)so any cheapo but stl decent stuff within that range!(i know nothng cumz cheap!)something i can get frm chennai stores as i aint n2 online shoppng!

Sennheiser Adidas? i must confess I've never heard of them. But there are other inexpensive Sennheiser options like the PX100 and the HD202 that you might consider in that budget.
