Please suggest the best speaker in 2.1 range below INR 2K @chennai

Hi,

Please help me to decide between ALTEC VS2621,CREATIVE A300 and ARTIS S222 USB or suggest the best speakers between 1-2K max.

I don't think the VS2621 is in the 2K category. It's closer to 6K. I would recommend the Altec Lansing BXR 1221 setup. I have the 1220 which is without the subwoofer but I can attest to the AL quality and its also excellent VFM. Good luck!

Hey bro,VS2621 is avlbl between 1600-1900 but the only concern is the fear of Altec Subwoofers wearing out soon...

Oh, I was not aware that the VS2621 was in that range. Sorry, I cannot comment on the quality of the subwoofer since my setup does not have one but I can say that the regular speakers are solidly built and have an excellent feel, especially at this price range (they're 700 odd bucks).

I hope someone who has experience with the subwoofers will be able to guide you.

Creative SBS370 used to be a decent 2.1

You can also try out the F&D speakers. I haven't heard them extensively but have heard them in the Vishal Mega Mart and Croma. They sounded quite decent for their price.

M3200.. I got this for my friend.. not sure if this model is available yet.

M1335 Is close to 1700.

but if poss go for m3200.. its an amazing set at that price..

wired remote with a headphone jack.. treble is good for that price.. will not blow the house.. but sound good as compared to similar systems of that price range.



and i always suggest people.. please please please do not buy creative unless its a megaworks or gigaworks... besides that all are crappy.... sub will overtake everything and will get u irritated.. i was still happy to use my 4 years old frontech 2.1 (with fm) over creative 2.1.. before the got my jbl creature and logitech z-5500... and yes my old frontech are still working without a hiss.. i have seen the torture of 2.1 creatives for a long time...


if not edifier.. next choice will be for altec lancing..... do not go for iball and all those brands.. as the day u crank it up and the sub will start actin weird till the time they die..

Thanks! Even I have a mercury 4.1 with fm,I bought 9 years back, still working fine. A friend of mine is looking for speakers, we had al tec lansing in mind, but I guess we wil give edifier a shot.

try giving it a listen.. clear.. however a lil soft at max vol..

but still good.. and for 2k looks pleasing to eyes and a wired pod remote with headphone is an added advantage..
