Hi Guys,

I have want to set up my system in the hall and for that I need to shift my computer table to another area in the room. However the plug point is a 3 pin plug point and is 32A DP switch. I'm guessing that in order to hook up my computer/laptop there I will need a stablizer? Am I right? If so what kind of stabilizer do I use for the computer? I'm a newbie at this, guidance would be really appriciated?

You also need to be sure that the UPS has surge protection.

All this is for the protection of your equipment, and ensuring that you have time to shut it down properly in a power cut. As you spend more, then you can increase the backup time, allowing you to work through those power cuts.

I am using just a laptop. Is there any need for a UPS?

As I said before, for a laptop, nothing is really needed. Even if there is a surge, just the battery charger may be damaged.
