Thanks Spiro,

Prices of Fronts(80k) & Centre(27k)
Why no mention of price for the surrounds??? Guessing that surrounds which are having ribbon tweeter will be costly too (maybe more than centre speaker???)

Anyway, wish them best of luck coz at the prices they have quoted, they surely will need all of it

Spiro,

Thanks for the detailed review on the Boston's and Pulz. Nothing much to comment on the Boston's as the Yamaha 667 and Boston setup didnt deliver.

Denom, yes we too felt that the Pulz prices were not too competitive for the home segment. Pulz mentioned that many of their speakers for home use are in the R & D Stage and some of what we heard were just prototypes. In fact we had the demo in their R & D room :) with drivers, crossovers, wires and cabinets etc scattered all over the room.

Pulz are yet to finalize the pricing on some of the speakers we auditioned but proper pricing is essential. It they get their pricing right it will be a sweet deal allright ?.

Pricing apart, the Pulz did a great job on both the HT and Stereo front with Spiro's Yamaha 667. The Yamaha played those floor standers with great ease. A few seconds in each clip of HT we did feel like we were sitting in a theatre. The soundstage and detailing was really amazing. Its been a long time since I heard a good HT setup and especially something that went well with the Yamaha. The Sub wasn't configured correctly for some reason and I felt it could do a better job if set up properly. One must audition the Pulz to get a real feel of a good HT setup. We initially thought we would wrap up the session one hour but we ended up auditioning for 3 hrs if not more :)

The Stereo Amp looked impressive but sadly due to time constraints we unable to audition it as it was brought out by Mr. Balakrishnan (the Director of Pulz) when he came to meet us once we had wrapped up our audition. The stereo is something to look forward to in the next audition.

The staff was very patient and accommodating especially since it was a spur of the moment decision to visit their office and were only able to give them a 30 mins notice prior to our arrival.

Thanks to Spiro for planning the impulsive visit to Pulz and to DJ for providing the logistical support over the phone :)

P.S.: Sorry for the quality of pictures as they were clicked from a mobile phone.

So is there a plan to visit the Pulz factory again? I've been planning for long so I would be interested if you all go there.
