I'm not an audiophile and I'm happy listening on my laptop or headphone. I am yet to buy a good speaker system. Looking for a good 5.1 to complement my Denon 1612.

This thread could be a good starting point for any trance enthusiast.

Northern exposure is a brilliant album... old but magical every time it spins. Far from the maddening crowds by chicane sets me in a mood too. Schiller sounds great. In search of sunrise sets 1 - 7 are an all time favourite by tiesto. Distant earth and future memories by atb. Trance euphoria series especially white label euphoria by john Fleming. Solar stone's destinations. Gatecrasher sessions... black, resident transmissions.

Offbeat... the angels chill trance essentials 1 - 3 and armada lounge series.

Up a notch I like the compositions of asura, aes dana, solar fields, huva network, carbon based life forms, farenheit project, vibrasphere...

I could go on and on...

But remember trance is a genre which has more milestone tracks rather than entire albums ......
