The tweeters are fair enough.

Below is the Crossover simulation using attached FRDs captured in box.

Did not merge FE85 nearfield measurement.

All gated measurement upto 5ms
0-180 degrees horizontal
+-60 degrees vertical

Dont have time to capture Actuals . Will do on some later date.

The box is 2 liters tuned to 80hz. Inspired by Jeff bagbys quarks mosd project.

The diffraction frd will be used to form low frequency response along with near field measurements and then merged to actual/predicted crossover response. Near field merged with diffraction

The crossover is second order around 2.8khz

These are going to be PC speakers supported by a 10 inch dainty sub

I will use rew measurements and equalization to further linearise and correct speaker response.

Will be building an analog lpf/hpf using original ne5532 opamps . Prototyped first using 4558d op amps.

a work of art - do consider a gifting business of hand painted good sounding active / passive speakers... and congratulations to your wife for participating in your passion....

i read jeff bagby in one of your posts - a great designer !

in college days - we used to get by with a clay pot and a car speaker and that used to sound so wonderful..

Perhaps there is a market for branded / painted alien looking good sounding claypots with car speaker's for college folks who cannot afford "hifi" and who are too busy ot too lazy..

I think you can use more flatter screws in black color. May also help with more even dispersion.

Thanks for the complements @oldmonk and @grindstone

@Passive_audio_enthusiast I will look for suitable replacement as I am using threaded inserts for the woofer.

Lovely DIY effort. Paintings added much more value than just usual vinyl or paint work. Bravo!
These speakers become unique too in many ways.
