how much i can offer the seller and how much if u buy the same model brand new?

Depends on the condition and cartridge in it. If in Mumbai you can check the price of a new Project TT at Lakozy at Marine drive. The price quoted online is anywhere between 400 to 500 USD.

Ive bought mine (used one) for SG$480 a year ago.
It came with an Ortofon Red cartridge.

Hi Kamal, see that you have a Thorens thread too and you are on the look out to buy yourself a turntable and get started with vinyl (or perhaps already have a collection).

The thing with turntables is that there are lots or variables and dependencies when it comes to pricing strategy. By simply quoting a model number or name, it is close to impossible to value a turntable. For a start the following base-information (or atleast, whatever you can gather based on these) would be required:

1) Model and Make
2) Year of purchase and ownership history
3) Service history and details of repairs if available
4) A brief note on the current functionality of all features
5) Cosmetics of externals with photos, photos of internals can be an added advantage
6) Tonearm type
7) Cartridge and Stylus (stylus condition)
8) Interconnects
9) Platter mat
10) Details of any mods done (if any)

Also details of freebies being offered with it would help (eg: Free cartridge, replacement styli, LP records, phonostage, etc)

If you can provide atleast some of these, it will aid our forum members in suggesting a more reliable number
