Problem with Creative GigaWorks T3 2.1 Multimedia Speakers

After using Creative GigaWorks T3 2.1 Multimedia Speakers for 6 months it suddenly stopped working. When contacted creative support, they suggested to check the speaker system with their distributors COMPUAGE and CYBERSTAR. As I am based at Hyderabad, I contacted COMPUAGE Hyderabad office.

The technical person at COMPUAGE, Secunderabad told that there is a problem with relay and they cannot get repaired/replace it. CYBERSTAR, Secunderabald told that they are not handling repairs any more. I am personnally fan of creative products. I am very much disappointed with the systems provided by creative for hefty price.

It was laying waste in my home for last one year. Can some body sugges how to proceed to repair this?

baijuxavior: The problem with local un-authorized service men is that if the parts are not exactly available, they will replace with the nearest one, meaning compromise with quality of the music. Then what is the purpose of having this premium model with bad quality music.

I already experienced this with my old 5.1 home theater where the repair man told that certain part is not available in India so will replace with nearest one but quality is not that good.

corElement: I did that long time back and they suggested to visit their authorized distributors. As per their suggestion, I had contacted them with no result. But, I will contact creative support with my issue. Thank you very much.
 
It may be a problem with the power adapter also. The PSU of my creative 2.1 went kaput in 6 months and they said there is no warranty for psu and so I got it rewind from an electronics store. But the SQ deteriorated as it was not supplying enough current.

With regards to your enquiry, we are sorry to inform you that the responsible for get repaired your speaker is the place where you bought it, if they can not do it and neither the distributors we can not get it repaired due to we are not selling directly in India.

Actually after got the product for more than one year, it means is out of warranty so they will not accept the repair or replacement.

The only option left is to go for a local repair :-(
 
You left with no option -- so need to try local

Relay IMHO may not a complex part - just my assumption..
