Process for shipment to West bengal

Hi Guys,

I need to send this AVR of mine to a buyer in darjeeling, west bengal. However Bluedart and DTDC guys are asking for Form50A (part 1 and part 2).

Has anybody got the idea of this process, or easy way of doing it.

point is bluedart, dtdc etc are quite conservative...for the easier way out why not talk to Gatti or Pafex, they would advise you hopefully....you could have it sent as a demo piece with a letter stating that the item has no commercial value..

That thread is an old one 2009. There were some changes in rule in Dec 2010.
has somebody recetly shipped to WB.

Spoken to Gati customer care, they said they wont deliver an AVR.

How about a spped post?

Around 3-4 months back my stuff was rejected by 4-5 couriers. On airport there was Jet Cargo ,but rates were too high.
I sent the stuff with my wife when she was visiting kolkata for a tour.

Savoy and Flipcart are "Orgnisations" , it is issue face by "persons"

You require some sales tax number and other documents, now least no-one whom I know has sales tax number,don't know in your case...
