Professional installers?

Hi,
Some time ago I bought a home theatre but extremely unhappy with the sound quality. Do you know of anyone who can help me rewire / check the installation of the same ?

Ameet, pls elaborate on your HT is it a HTiB or separate? what is the source used to play movies/music from your HT?

Hello,
This is all separate. I use a NAD cd player for music and wd tv live for pictures.
Have Denon 1912, ms mezzo 2 fronts and center, Polk audio rears (bipolar) and a svs sub.

What exactly are you unhappy about ? Music ? Surround Sound on Movies? Bass ? Clarity ?

Unhappy about lack of bass, muddy sound and volume.

I do know some professional sound setup guys, but I do not know if they will do JUST fine tuning. They are currently doing A/V setup for Karan Johar, they have also done Sanjay Dutt's and Jackky Bhagnani's. So I assume they may not do just fine tuning. And if they do they may charge a bomb.

I assume you have run the Audyessy Setup on your Denon ? If you have not, I suggest reset your AVR to the factory defaults and run it. If it still doesn't give you satisfactory results then research , do trial and error after reading up on the net. Then look for professional help. All the best

Like someone above said, i suggest you to place the speakers carefully and run Audessey. I don't know what it was, but my speakers opened up after running YPAO. After you run Audessey, you might want to examine the settings and change some settings manually (especially distance)
