ps3 80 gb hdd?

hey bros.

i have installed 250gb hdd in ps3

i want to format its 80gb hdd for additional use with my laptop

when i connect it through usb i can't get its folder or something

so how to format it

You have XP or Vista ( or any other OS?)\
If u have XP You need to install a s/w called swiss knife
( this is web knowledge to ask other experts)
